9th leg race to Nigeria masters: G. Inalegwu leads in day 1 of the tournament
It’s the 10th Leg of the Race to Nigeria Masters and 7 players are presently in the struggle of humbling the luscious Arsenal Golf Course; Owerri.

Topping the leaderboard with 1 over par (73) is the resilient G. Inalegwu. His game was a combination of 9 par, 5 bogey and 4 birdie, which is fair enough for a start.
“I’m very excited with my today’s game, it’s a good way to start the tournament and am hopeful about doing better in subsequent rounds”, Inalegwu said in a media chat with the africantour correspondent.
In second place with a score difference is B. Gbadagesi. He played 10 par, 5 bogey and 3 birdie which saw him finishing the round with 2 over par (74).
In a media chat with Gbadagesi, the golfer said, “Its been a while though but I am fully back and am glad this first round was enough prove that victory is coming my way”.
