TORGAH SURGES INTO LEAD AFTER 36 HOLES NIGERIA MASTERS
Vincent Torgah began today with three strokes behind coleaders Visitor Mapwanya and Biggie Chibvuri but recorded five birdies in the second round that helped him to jump up the leaderboard to take the solo lead at 3-under (141) at the NIgeria Masters 2018 at Phyton International Golf Club in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

The Ghanian shot the best round of the day 3-under (69) followed by Chukwudi Okoro, Mike Ubi and Gift Willy, who carded 2-under (70) to tie for second place (142) after 36 holes.

The field at the Nigeria Masters was trimed after today’ second round to 37 players. The weekend promises to be an exciting spectacle at the golf course as players on top of the leaderboard will chase Torgah down and attemp to apply some pressure on him to reduce the gap or even overtake the leader.
